The best source of info is the DEM specs by Uwe Gilrish.
The DEM files contain ordinary SERVER to CLIENT commands.
For CLIENT to SERVER (needed for bots) hacking is required.

That's how I did my camera. But though the staitc version worked,
the rocket mounted one still producess a lot of mess :-(
