This is very interesting. I definitely think that this format would be
more appropriate for the distribution file than the PAK. I was not really
proposing a new format, other than the `MakeTex.cfg' file.

Could you send to me (or post to the list if appropriate) the format of this
DWAD? Also, where are the quake-development pages? Apologies if they were
in the info file on the list, but I must have missed it.
