THIS LEVEL IS AN UPDATE ON MY ORIGINAL DEPTHS.WAD WHICH SHOULD BE REPLACED IF YOU HAVE THE OLD VERSION. ============================================================================== Title : Depths of Hell Filename(s) : DEPTHS.WAD Updated Text File : 31st Jan 1998 Completion Date : 31st Jan 1998 Release Date : 31st Jan 1998 Author : Ryan Mallen Email Address : gmarts@auslink.net Misc. Author Info : This level was 99% complete about 6 months ago but I never really got around to finishing it for public release. This is probably my best and last Doom work, as I just completed a commercial Quake project (www.planetquake.com/impel) and now moving on to bigger and better things. Description : I believe this level is up to the standard of iD. It is a very smooth, enjoyable and challenging single player level. It is not a pathetic 1 room full of monsters level, it's a full level of explorable and interesting rooms. I'd describe it as a small castle and a base of some sort, that slide together really well. While the size of the level isn't huge, it has a lot of things to do, and should take about 15 - 20 minutes to complete first time around. For the first time you play on this level, I suggest to start at skill 2. Once you learn and know the level, higher skill should be attempted. Also, remember to SAVE often. Additional Credits to : Ben Morris for DCK. iD for Doom! The respectable guys at Tha Doom Shack for pointing this level in the right direction. ============================================================================== * Play Information * Game Type (Doom / Doom2): Doom 2 Episode and Level # : Level 01 Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : Yes Deathmatch 2-4 Player : Yes, but specifically designed for SP.
