Description : Principal Functions The program permits to invoke a WAD file of constructions, open it to visualize and then start a game session, in the one the number of level is correctly invoked. Improvements (v1.1) : Includes the No Monsters (Sin Enemigos) option. Special for developers tests! The Skill degree has been set to 4. The program sets this value automatically. New extra program information add on screen. Improvements (v1.2) : Allows to invoke Additional Parameters. General support for the Play Game procedure. Now you can also specify your preferred skill degree. Likewise you can enter all the well known parameters of the games. (Please remember that the '-file' and '-warp' options are used internally by the program to load and invoke your map). Refer to your 'Readme.Txt' file (inside your game directory), for more information about the General Parameters. Improvements (v1.3) : This version has a new check option. The Test Deathmatch option that allows you to specify a single Deathmatch game, which is very useful for developers, to test their start points at Deathmatch encounters. Improvements (v1.3 R2) : A Real FrontEnd. General support for the Play Game procedure. Now this version of MaPRunner generates its own Response File (MPRPARAM) in every session and in every game. Support for Strife Game is also acceptable (you only have to rename your executable file and iWAD file like: doom2.* or hexen.*) Includes a new check option. The Full Silence (Silencio Total) option that allows to silence the whole game. This is very useful for those people that like to play at midnight... enjoy this option :) Now you can enter your desired parameters to the game without any restriction. Fixed any bugs that were present on the previous versions. Includes a new Filer (Archivador) command button in the main screen, that allows to invoke a Windows filer. Fixed an error that allows the Edit PWAD (Ver NIVEL) button to edit a blank pWAD. Also fixed an error that prevents to store the current location of our WADFiles. Status: Complete. Improvements (v1.3 R3) : All the screens of MAPRUNNER has been centered. Considering an 800x600 resolution. Changed the procedure that generates the response file: "MPRPARAM". Now it allows to generate the file and to place one parameter per line. Additionally it was attach the "Author.exe" file that is an Electronic Presentation Card module from the author of MAPRUNNER. First you should select the type of game desired and then search your file with the filer present in the main screen of MaPRunner. Located the desired file you will proceed to visualize it pressing the Ver Nivel button or simply giving double click in the sameone. It will be presented an screen that will show you the detail in Sectors of your Level. You can also use this tool to visualize and reproduce other effects inside your WAD. It is important to highligh that if you want to edit this information, you should use WinTex by Olivier Montanuy, which is the original tool. Likewise to invoke your Maps you should not locate them in your temporary directory "\Temp\" because the program uses this directory. The temporary files will be automatically deleted at the moment you leave. * Construction * Base : The program is based on the source code of WinTex 4.3 by Olivier Montanuy. The code of WinTex is of Public Domain and you can find it here: http://www.doomworld.com Build Time : Two days approximatively, considering tests and depurations.
