/------ CTF-match 2vs2 - highlights ---------\ \--------------------------------------------/ Demo recorded on tuesday, the 25th of march with the KasCam deathmatch-camera patch by Karel Suhajda, which I merged with the CTF 3.5 source-code by Dave 'Zoid' Kirsch. The full Demo was about 4.6megs, so I decided to test the latest demo-editing tools like LMPC and "Film at 11" and cut together a nice "best of"-demo. Maybe you noticed, that the demo runs in slow-motion. I thought this would be nice to watch (especially the gib-frags). I don't really think, it's important who won, so just don't look at the frags. (of course, the Ocranas won... :)) Also I got rid of the messages that normally appear, when someone gets fragged or scores a point. I don't like sub-titles... You SEE and HEAR the action :) PS: You don't need to set the viewsize to 120 or to toggle off your crosshair. The demo does this for you. Installation: ---------------- You need the client-side PAK0.PAK from the CTF-patch. The demo uses the new models for the flag, the player and the grappling-hook. If you have this, just copy the CTF_HI.DEM to the Capture the Flag- directory and launch quake with "quake -game ctf +playdemo ctf_hi" For QRun32-users: Put the CTF_HI.DEM to your CTF-directory, select the CTF-patch in the "Game patch"-field, check "Playback" in the "Demos"-section and browse for the correct demo with the browse-button. Now run Quake.
