There are architectural changes in multiplayer mode to allow easy navigation around the level and there are no areas that Reapers "prefer" such as large bodies of water. The weapon layout is roughly the same as in Single Play, although there are extra power-ups, armour, and megahealths. There are also several bonus items that can only be reached by rocket jumping. ================================================================ Installation To play this level, extract the file "epoch.bsp" into your Quake/ID1/Maps directory and then start the game. Choose which skill setting you wish to play on by typing "SKILL <0-3>" (0 for easy, 1 for normal, 2 for hard, 3 for nightmare) and then type "MAP EPOCH" to begin. It is recommended that you play on "nightmare" mode. ================================================================ Copyright and Permissions This level may be distributed via any medium (ie: Internet, BBS, CD-ROM, compilation disk) as long as it maintains the name EPOCH.BSP and is supplied in a zip file called EPOCH.ZIP that also includes this text document and no other files.
