Additional Credits to : Matt Rowell @ the gamer's alliance for playtesting. Description : This is a very detailed level designed to look looke a typical house. It is good for single or deathmatch play. Please read the * Notes * section at the end of this file for more info. * Play Information * Single Player : Yes (See below for details) Cooperative : No Deathmatch : Yes Difficulty Settings : Yes (no monsters in Easy) Quake C : No New Sounds : No New Graphics : Borrowed a few textures from CTF Demos Replaced : None Source Included : No * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Build time : 12 hours + 2 hours QBSP Light & VIS Editor used : Worldcraft public beta 1.1 Known Bugs : * Notes * This place is pretty detailed, and features a lot of great archetecture. The light switches all work, so during a good DM the lighting in the house will constantly change as people turn switches on and off. Although the place is very dark with all of the lights off, there are enough nightlights and lamps that never turn off to keep you from ever being lost in total darkness. The level is pretty neat to see, and if you just want to take a walking tour you can go through on Easy and there won't be any monsters. Also, there is no exit, so there is not much to do in single play after you clean out the house. * INSTRUCTIONS * just copy the home.bsp into your {c:\quake\id1\maps} directory (where c: is your hard drive) from the dos prompt type: c:\quake\quake +map madhouse OR hit the tilda key '~' from within the game to bring up the console and type "map madhouse" * Legal Stuff * The author reserves the right to frag your butt if you distribute this level without this text file intact. Don't be a weasel, keep the text file with the BSP and you'll save yourself a lot of greif and save me a lot of buckshot.
