Make sure to run completely into all buttons.... ******important******* Unzip everything into the quake\wind directory (create if necessary). ----NOT your ID1 directory---- Launch Quake using the string... Quake -game wind -mem 9(or winmem) +map wind, I apologize, but because of something unknown to me, there is an hunc allocation error using less than 9 megs of ram... sorry I suggest using -mem/-winmem 16 if you have it, but 9 is the minimum ***************The Story***************** A dark King has stolen the five Runes of eternal energy from Quake himself. With them, he plans to aquire the technology to control all the slipgates, using the Runes, also, as their power source.. The forces of Quake have responded quickly, sending a detatchment of troops to the realm of the dark King. Intelligence reports that an underground base has been established, but has no other information- until recently. A communication was intercepted reading- 'Progress is slow.' 'Castle loacation still a mystery.' 'Surface finally breeched' 'More troops requested' 'Marine captured- fear other infultrations.' 'Further updates will follow soon.' Your friends have gone before you, but their whereabouts unknown. Time is running out. You must find the dark King's castle and beat Quake to the runes- You must get past the forces of Quake, and the Knights of the King.
