This PROGS.DAT will give you the BioGun instead of the normal Nailgun. The BioGun fires small spikes of explosive bone, which will implant in any non - organic matter and explode after a small time. If the gun hits an organic entity, it will deal damage but not explode. The Bones can be set on an organic timer, which will time from an internal clock. Do this by setting temp1 to whatever value you want. The default is 0 seconds, and this will cause the spikes to explode virtually on impact. With the gun on this setting, this weapon is VERY satisfying to fire, no? These will do 65 pts damage at a direct hit, which I dont think you can ever obtain(?). Reign Death. Installing the mod: =================== make a directory under quake called BIO. make a directory under this called progs and copy all of your qc files to this directory. overwrite the old weapons.qc file with my new one. run qccdos from this directory. QCC.ZIP can be obtained from ftp.cdrom.com The gun replaces the nailgun, so no need to bind any commands. in the console, type temp1 [x] where x is the length of the bionic fuse.
