May Not Run With... : JDoom v0.81 * What's new to this version? * Mods made by Sparky of KISS Software: (the original two distributions contained 31 files, the Dmgraph patch modified your doom2.wad, and the map contained lots of aesthetic bugs) - converted the Dmgraph patch to wad format. - mirror-imaged one of the death frames (the death sequence still looks poor, but it'll have to do). - fixed the offset of the "Kato Kalen" fireballs. - all of the doors were completely hidden and impossible to find. Now they're all regular doors except the hidden exit door, which I've made really obvious. - fixed the texture misalignment and added skill settings to the map. - added a slightly more detailed text file. ====================================================================== * Installation * Play with Regular Doom II: ------------------------- a) add the extra sprites to ojdoom2b.wad using a program such as DeuSF, WinTex, NWT, etc. For example: deusf -as ojdoom2b.wad b) run the game with: doom2 -file ojdoom2b.wad Play with a Doom Source Port: ---------------------------- A much better option is to use a Doom Source Port that can import pwads containing sprite graphics; such as: Boom, PrBoom, MBF, SMMU, PrjDoom, Vavoom, JDP, ZDoom, Legacy, Edge, etc. Patching is not required, just use the wad as-is.
