======================================================================= Title : King Kong CTF Filename : CTFKKONG.BSP : CTFKKONG.MAP (Included for edit/recompile) : CTFKKONG.WAY (CTFBot v1.2 Waypoints!) Author : Vance Andrew Blevins (PestControl) Email Address : aocs@ionet.net Description : A single oversized map, mirrored four : ways instead of two with two centralized : weapons caches. Flags placed verically : in map instead of horizontally. The map is an experiment on CTF gameplay where the deathmatch (CTF) start positions face off players directly before one of the centralized weapons caches and the flags are placed directly above and below. Each flag area has plenty of defense areas, yet the map is very open, similar to "The Kiln" where battles reach fever pitch. For those who love the ThreeWave grappling hook patch in CTF, this could be considered a grappling hook workout! And for those that would like to recompile this map with the CTFBot waypoints, simply add the CTFKKONG.WAY to the very end of the CTFKKONG.MAP and recompile to create the server-side .BSP file. With settings of LIGHT -extra and VIS -level 2, it will take approx. 4 hours to recompile. Enjoy!
